The KDR Process
- Pay a $1,600 non-refundable deposit to secure a Fixed Price Tender (refunded if site is deemed not to be suitable by Fowler Homes)
- Fowler Homes provide an assessment of your site to ascertain its suitability for your new Fowler Home
- Order Contour survey and Borehole Report should your project be accepted by Fowler Homes following our Site Assessment
- Hydraulics assessment completed
- Tender will be presented along with a Preliminary Plan and siting of your new home (Tender Presentations take place during normal business hours)
- Accept Tender and pay $4,000 Tender Acceptance fee
- Sign the Fowler Homes Building Agreement and pay the balance of your 5% Deposit – Note: At this stage no further structural changes will be permitted
- Attend Selection appointments
- Council/CDC plans are prepared
- Hydraulics costs finalised
- Prepare additional documentation including (but not limited to) engineering plans, BASIX report, acoustics and landscaping plans where required
- Lodge plans to the Council or Certifier for approval
- Waterboard Approval & Construction Certificate
- Loan Approval & Authority to Commence Construction
- We have approval! – Construction Commences
- Updates from your Construction Supervisor
- Handover of your new home – keys, instruction manuals, certificates & warranties
