The KDR Process

  • Attend a ”Design Meeting” with a Fowler Homes Building & Design Consultant to discuss Design Requirements and Wish List

  • Fowler Homes complete initial site assessment to ascertain its suitability for your new Fowler Home

  • A ”Preliminary Tender Estimate” will be presented to you (Tender Presentations take place during normal business hours)

  • Accept ”Preliminary Tender Estimate” and pay Preliminary Tender Acceptance fee of $2,000 to secure a Fixed Price ”Tender Agreement”

  • Fowler Homes provide a formal assessment of your site

  • Order Contour Survey and Borehole Report changes will be permitted

  • Concept Plan & Siting Prepared

  • Fixed Price ”Tender Agreement” Prepared

  • The ”Tender Agreement” will be presented along with a Concept Plan & Siting of your new home (Tender Presentations take place during normal business hours)

  • Accept Fixed Price ”Tender Agreement” and Pay Formal Tender Acceptance Fee of $3,000

  • Fowler Homes will prepare the Building Agreement

  • Sign the Fowler Homes Building Agreement and pay the balance of your 5% Deposit (less monies paid to date) – Note: At this stage no further structural changes will be permitted

  • Attend Selection appointments

  • Council/CDC plans are prepared

  • Hydraulics costs finalised

  • Prepare additional documentation including (but not limited to) engineering plans, BASIX report, acoustics and landscaping plans where required

  • Lodge plans to the Council or Certifier for approval

  • Waterboard Approval & Construction Certificate Loan

  • Approval & Authority to Commence Construction

  • We have approval! – Construction Commences

  • Updates from your Construction Supervisor

  • Handover of your new home – keys, instruction manuals, certificates & warranties
